How long will my project take?
Every project is different, and there are thousands of products on the market. A typical project may take anywhere from about one hour to two full days, while larger or more complex installations may take longer. I’ll provide my best time estimate before the project begins.
How does scheduling work?
Projects are generally scheduled first come, first served, with flexibility for individual project needs. When requesting a quote, tell me when you would like the project completed and I’ll work with you to find the best available time.
Can you receive, assemble and deliver my product?
In some cases, yes. I may be able to receive or pick up your product, assemble it at my workshop and deliver the completed item. Availability depends on the product, size, location and delivery requirements.
What will my quote include?
I’ll provide as much information as possible before accepting the project, including a price or estimated price, expected time required, location and scheduling details. Some projects cannot be priced exactly until I can review the product and installation requirements.
What if there is a problem with the product?
Occasionally products arrive damaged, defective, incomplete or with missing hardware or parts. If a problem occurs, I’ll work with you and, when appropriate, the manufacturer, retailer, carrier or delivery company to help get the project moving again. Additional trips, returns, replacement-part visits or other circumstances outside the original assembly may involve additional charges.
Should my product be unboxed before you arrive?
Whenever possible, I ask that delivered products be unboxed and inspected before my scheduled arrival. Please check for visible damage and confirm that the correct product and boxes were delivered. This helps avoid delays and allows me to begin work on time. If an uninspected product is damaged, incorrect, or cannot be assembled, additional time, rescheduling, a return trip, or a trip charge may apply on a case-by-case basis.
Is there a warranty on your work?
Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer or retailer, and I cannot warranty the products themselves. I do, however, stand behind my workmanship. I approach every project—large or small—with honesty, integrity, and a commitment to quality. If there is a legitimate concern about my workmanship, contact me and I will do everything reasonably possible to make it right. If I cannot correct a workmanship issue to your reasonable satisfaction, I will refund the applicable labor charge.
What should I do when my product arrives?
Please open and inspect all packages before my scheduled arrival. Make sure you received the correct product, check for visible damage, and verify that all boxes, parts, and hardware appear to be included. If anything is damaged, missing, incorrect, or the delivery is delayed, please let me know as soon as possible and before I arrive. Failure to inspect the product or notify me of an issue before my arrival may result in additional time, rescheduling, or a trip charge.
